PETALING JAYA: The health ministry has reported 1,114 Covid-19 cases and two deaths in the past 24 hours.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said there were 803 recoveries, bringing the total number of those discharged to 33,772.
In a statement, Noor Hisham said the 1,114 cases bring the total number of infections in the country to 46,209.
There are currently 12,131 patients being treated. One hundred and three are in the intensive care unit, with 43 requiring respiratory assistance.
Meanwhile, the two deaths bring the toll to 306.
